Red Bull KTM Factory Racing has confirmed that Italian star Andrea Verona will join the team’s EnduroGP program for the 2026 season. Verona will race in the Enduro2 class aboard the KTM 450 EXC-F in the FIM EnduroGP World Championship.
He will line up alongside reigning EnduroGP Champion Josep Garcia, who will continue to compete in Enduro1 for the team. The move also continues Verona’s long-standing five-year relationship within the KTM group.
Strong 2025 season for Verona
Andrea Verona once again proved his strength in the 2025 season with an impressive performance in Enduro2. He scored 14 podium finishes, including seven wins, and added 11 overall EnduroGP podiums to his record. The results underlined his consistency and his ability to fight at the very front across different terrains and race conditions.
Widely regarded as one of the most complete riders in modern enduro, Verona is known for his technical precision, endurance and race intelligence.
A powerful KTM lineup for 2026
With Verona in Enduro2 and Garcia in Enduro1, Red Bull KTM Factory Racing will field one of the most balanced and competitive lineups on the 2026 grid. Both riders are expected to play an important role not only in racing but also in bike development throughout the season.
Work has already begun to integrate Verona into the team’s testing and technical program, with a focus on setting up the KTM 450 EXC-F to match his riding style ahead of the new campaign.
What they said
Verona shared his excitement about the move:
“I’m really happy to join Red Bull KTM Factory Racing. Riding a factory KTM has been a dream since I was a kid, and now it finally feels real. I’ll give everything to win as much as possible in 2026.”
Team Manager Fabio Farioli also welcomed him to the team:
“We know Andrea very well after working together for five years. He’s a proven champion and we believe 2026 will be a very strong season for us with both Verona and Garcia in the team.”
