The 2025 Red Bull Erzbergrodeo kicked off with the Iron Road Prologue, and EnduroGP star Josep Garcia was the fastest rider on day one. He rode a KTM 450 and finished ahead of Andrea Verona and Dakar winner Daniel Sanders.
Rain caused a one-hour delay in the morning, and the track became rough as more than 1000 riders passed through. Early starters had smoother conditions, but it got harder for the rest.
Rieju rider Dominik Olszowy took fourth place, followed by Billy Bolt in fifth and Jonny Walker in sixth with his Triumph 250. American Will Riordan was the fastest Sherco rider and the top U.S. rider of the day.
Getting into the top 50 is very important for Sunday’s main race. Manuel Lettenbichler did well with 10th place, while legend Graham Jarvis, in 58th, might miss the front row. Cody Webb also had a tough day, finishing 71st.
One of the big surprises was Camilo Herrera from Chile, who started way back but finished in an amazing 12th place.
