Day three of the 2025 International Six Days Enduro (ISDE) introduced a completely new loop, making it the toughest stage so far. Five new tests, challenging transfers, and the infamous Scalina Enduro test pushed riders to their limits — causing the first retirements in the World Trophy and Junior Trophy categories.
Italy In Control
Consistency paid off for the Italian World Trophy team, which now holds a 4-minute lead over rivals after three strong days. Andrea Verona was second fastest overall, just eight seconds behind Josep Garcia, despite a small crash in the fourth test. With three Italians in the top five for scratch times, the host nation looks dominant.
-
France and Sweden remain locked in a fight for second, separated by just seven seconds today.
-
Spain bounced back after a poor Day 2, finishing second on the day thanks to Garcia’s blistering pace.
Scratch Battle: Garcia Still King
Despite a mistake in the second special, Josep Garcia topped the individual timesheets again, nearly 1:30 faster than the best American.
Junior Trophy: Three-Way Fight
Italy, France, and Australia remain in contention. Italy retains the lead but saw their margin cut to 44 seconds after Manuel Veroli crashed in the opening test. France capitalized on that mistake to claw back time, while Australia’s Angus Reen impressed despite losing time in one special. The USA faded after yesterday’s strong showing and is now over 5 minutes from the podium.
Women’s Trophy: USA Untouchable
Team USA dominated again, finishing almost 4 minutes clear of France and over 6 minutes ahead of Australia. Brandy Richards surrendered her scratch lead by just three seconds, but the Americans’ advantage now exceeds 20 minutes overall. France strengthens its hold on second as Australia slips further back.
With five of today’s tests repeating tomorrow and two new specials coming, the second half of the week promises more drama.
