The Prologue at Erzberg Rodeo 2025 is done, and Jonny Walker had a strong start with his new Triumph Racing team. Riding a 250cc 4-stroke bike, he finished the first day in 6th place. After the race, he gave fans a closer look at his race bike for Sunday’s main event.
Almost Stock Triumph TF 250-X
Walker will race with the new Triumph TF 250-X, which is close to the version you can buy in stores. “It’s basically the stock bike,” he said. “The one you can go and buy.”

Tires: Michelin tires, with a special front tire for better grip.

Brakes: Galfer front disc; the rear disc is 5mm thick for more strength.

Suspension: K-Tech suspension, tested for just two days before the race.

Handlebars: Renthal 827 with soft half-waffle grips.

Race Setup:

Walker used a taller seat for the prologue. For the main race, he will use the standard seat with more grip.

Footpegs: Raptor pegs, placed 5mm lower and 5mm back.

Exhaust: Full Akrapovič system.

Fuel Tank: Lighter, transparent motocross tank for better performance.

Skid Plate: Acerbis plate without linkage guard for the prologue; with guard for Sunday.
Extra Tech Details:

Michelin rear tire with special mousse for the prologue; Extreme Super Soft tire will be used for the main race.

Stock gearing (13/51) was used in the prologue; lower gearing planned for the technical race day.

Bike hit 132 km/h during the prologue.

Final Thoughts:
Walker feels ready for the race and is excited about what this almost-stock Triumph can do. “If I can get on the podium with this bike, that would be amazing,” he said.
