Manuel Lettenbichler has done it again! The German rider took his fourth consecutive win at the world’s toughest hard enduro race – the Erzbergrodeo in Austria.
Riding his KTM 300 EXC, Mani grabbed the lead about 40 minutes into the race after a small mistake from early leader Billy Bolt, and from there, he never looked back. Despite rain and brutal terrain, Mani stayed focused and finished over 12 minutes ahead of second place!
“It feels amazing to win here again,” Lettenbichler said. “Nothing is guaranteed in hard enduro. I had to stay sharp and push through every section.”
Billy Bolt, who missed the race last year due to injury, came back strong and fought hard for second. “It was tough,” Bolt said. “I gave it everything I had.”
Teodor Kabakchiev (Sherco) had a great ride to take third – his first podium at Erzberg! He beat Mitch Brightmore (GasGas) by just two seconds in an exciting final climb.
Canadian rider Trystan Hart was also in the podium fight until he had to stop and fix loose sprocket bolts. He still managed to finish 5th – a strong result!
