The YouTube channel Motology Films has released a fantastic hard enduro video from the mountains of Spain, and it’s simply too good not to talk about. In the video titled “I Struggle to Climb This Hill in Spain,” Adam Riemann takes a Sherco SE 300 into some seriously steep and rocky terrain, while riding together with the Alpinestars ALL TERRA design team.
The ride takes place in the Catalonia region, where the Alpinestars crew invited Adam to join them and test their latest off-road gear in real hard enduro conditions. What follows is a mix of tough climbs, loose rock, sketchy descents, and plenty of honest reactions as things get harder and harder.
A climb that turns wild
One of the funniest and most relatable parts of the video is Adam trying to conquer a huge hill… right after “showing off for the camera.”
His heart rate spikes, the Sherco slides around, and he quickly realizes the climb is no joke. At one point he says he’s past the “point of no return,” and the only option is to keep going up.
Classic hard enduro moment.
Sherco 300 doing what it does best
The video also shows how capable the Sherco 300 two-stroke really is. Even at low revs on steep angles, the bike finds traction and crawls up sections where most bikes would quit. Adam calls it “unbelievable torque and traction,” which is exactly why 300s are the preferred weapon for technical riding.
Testing Alpinestars ALL TERRA gear with the people who designed it
The coolest part is seeing Adam ride with the actual designers behind the Alpinestars ALL TERRA line.
Including:
-
Former enduro world champion David Atli
-
Off-road apparel lead designer Robert Keithley
Together they test and talk through:
-
Tech Air MX airbag system
-
Tech 7 off-road boots
-
ALL TERRA pants and jackets
-
Venting, layering, heat management
-
Real protection vs comfort
-
How gear should behave during slow, high-effort riding
It’s rare to watch a gear test where the designers are right there on the trail putting their products through the same abuse as the rider.
Sketchy descents, lost teammates and enduro humor
The middle of the video becomes a mini-adventure by itself.
Steep descents that don’t look nearly as scary on camera.
A moment where the crew gets separated.
Lines that go wrong.
And a lot of laughing at how quickly things turn chaotic in hard enduro.
It’s honest, real and very entertaining.
